So I’ve just got a new rockshox rear shock with standard eyelets but have realised I need a bearing mount at the rear (for a Santa Cruz) is this a different shock shaft so I’m screwed or is there a bearing option for a standard shock eyelet. Didn’t think it would be so difficult?

Fox bearing shock mount.
There's also a company call RWC that make them.

Are you sure you need a bearing mount? They might come with one but it's usually a performance gain rather than essential..
It is either a new shock shaft + full service or the Fox bearing mounts if they do the right size at around £40
