Hello,

Has anyone used both tyres, and can comment on the durability of each in comparison? The TPI for the Schwalbe is higher than the eXception... so I was thinking they should be stronger sidewalls than the eXc series MAxxis?

Any ideas fellas?

Thanks

Butty

imo maxxis rubber is more resistant to abrasion, wear, punctures etc
i'm comparing exception monorails to racing ralphs run tubeless. not much in it really though, if you want tough tyres dont buy racey ones

According to the Maxxis website lower TPI tyres are tougher as the threads are thicker.

I've run both, I like both (Ignitors in eXCeption & Rocket Rons in Evo 3c)

The Schwalbe RR's reputably wear out quickly, the eXCeptions are pretty durable
