Any real world experience out there us RR's in and around Swinley both on and off piste?  What about through the seasons? I've just fitted one on the rear of my FS bike and it looks, feels and rides like it's mighty flimsy.

racing Ralph front, thunder burt rear here just back from swinley.  absolutely fine.  can be slidy in slop and don't like flints (more of an issue at qe)  I have no issues with them being flimsy it's been quite a while since I've sliced a sidewall

you obviously have less grip than bigger tread tyres but you get used to sliding them when you push.  rear always gives before front so easy to control

Have used rons very similar but prefer my current setup

Its Swinely.

The pebbles on the yellow brick road aren't going to cut then up, you could ride on tyres made of tissue paper and not have a problem in that respect.

The off piste doesn't really get ridden enough turn into a bog that would necessitate proper winter tyres.

They should be ideal.

For anywhere else might be a different matter!
