After actually discovering how to make them nice tyres, i have managed to slice the rear one, should be repairable with some super glue for now, but wondering if anyone can explain the differences between the various versions.
Does the rubber change much, the carcass, etc.
UST tubeless - not sure if these even still exist?
Pacestar tubeless ready - thin but light and grippy. Racing only.
Performance - less grippy rubber, heavy but cheap.
For general riding, rather than racing, they are not a good choice as the normal Pacestar ones are so thin. Go with a Snakeskin Ralph or Nic instead.

I'd agree with most of what gee says.
Rocket Rons are fast - but dont have extra nobbly bits on their edges where you might expect it.
"Performance" are the cheap version - very long lasting - not as grippy on the edges.
Pacestar for super easy tubeless.
Where I'd disagree with gee is that ime the snakeskin versions of Schwalbe tyres are a lot smaller than the equivalent pacestar / performance versions. You may want to go up a size.
I like the tyres and a case of wondering what i loose by getting the cheaper ones, i accept that they are never going to be the most durable of tyres. Just a shame i have managed to cut the sidewall on one of the pair.
Have Ralphs improved? i tried a set of the old tread pattern a few years ago, they were expensive ones then, and i didn't like them much.
The new Ralphs are a great dry/mid conditions tyre. The snakeskin ones last ages. The normal PaceStar ones don't...

love my ron pacestars, have held up very well so far considering they get smashed across the peak and rocky bits of wales 😀
Got Rons on my Cross bike, confidence inspiring and roll well.
