Hi
Got a 12 hour solo night ride coming up and after some tyres.
I thought high volume fairy puncture resistant good rolling tyre.
Ron and ralph snakeskin is what I am thinking.
I have a ralph but need a ron, expensive at most places. Bike discount cheap but out of stock.
Any better alternatives?
Thanks

I was going to use my ralph snakeskin on the rear but need something for the front fairly puncture proof as I don't fancy fixing punctures during the night.
I do run tubeless.

Right... So what's wrong with what you have?

Why not Ralphs both ends?

Could do, I have used ron and ralph as a combo in the past and thought the ron gave a bit more grip on the front but open to suggestions.
Do others prefer ralph front and rear?
The race is at thetford which drains well.

I've got a brand new pair of Ron's for sale right now... 29x2.25" EVO version, Trailstar compound.

They came on my mates new bike but he didn't want them, fitted new tyres before he rode it, and chucked them at me and said "here, sell em for me would you"... Will take £55 for the pair posted, or £50 if you can collect.

Email in profile if you want them...

Geax Saguaro - TNT if you need very tough but the standard are easily as tough as Snakeskin. Don't be put off by the weight - they roll faster than a RaRa.
Can get for under £30 each

Thetford? Thunder Burt or Furious Fred.

If it's Thetford (my local trails) I and 12 hours I definitely go with the TNT Saguaro as the Schwalbe tyres cut open very easily on the flinty trails

It's not that flinty! Genuinely I'd go Thunder Burts both ends I reckon for D2D.

Edit: if it's dry, Rons if not.
