Have a Ron 2.25 Pacesetter that I was going to use tubeless on the rear with a Dampf Trailstar for the front on my HT?
Not likely to encounter too much mud.
Thoughts or experiences please (especially on the Ron)
Cheers
You will obviously struggle for traction in muddy conditions, but if you're not hitting mud then you might get away with it. I had RR's front and rear on mine last summer and they were great in all conditions. But in as we got into the winter, the mud and leaves and general grotty conditions they lost their edge. I then moved onto Nobby Nicks on the rear and HD up front and that has proved to be a very good combo through this winter. They handle mud fine and roll well on hard packed trails.
I have another Dampf, but think it might be too draggy having them front and rear.
