Currently RR's front and rear. Rear one has a tear in sidewall and doesnt want to be fixed.....
Got a new Specialized Ground Control sitting - 2Bliss ready (came off bike when i got it - changed for RRs)
So, Rocket Ron Front, Ground Control Rear? Comments please.....
I hope its an original 1897 Specialized Ground Control.
Or even 1987...
Different brands?
I'm out
The Ground Controls came off a 2022 Spesh.
only one way to find out I suppose then. If not good I’ll buy another RR and put it on…
There's been a few ground controls. I suppose if it's the most recent one then it's more aggressive than the RR and probably bigger so put it on the front. If its an older one and smaller then put it on the rear.
Like this?

bung that on the front. 2.35 and near 900g.
@yak yes, looks like that. Theyre nearer 700g?
Anyway, like this Ground Control
Downside is if i put on the front have the faff with tubeless to remove and refit. Might be easier to buy a new RR or RRalph
I like the GC, summer tyre for me (dhf in winter).
GC would definitely be on the front for me out of those two. I like how after many years and failed experiments and promises and disappointments, someone finally made a halfway decent nobby nic and it's specialized.
Agree with folks above, GC front RR rear, assuming you're doing XC kind of things?
Have a GC front and Fasttrak rear on mine and it's dandy.

I thought it was a rekon myself
I’ve got fastraks. I’ll give that combo a shot on a non tubeless bike to try.
Just ride it on the back until you rip a hole in it 🤷♂️
After all these years riding, I think you're better off just riding with what you've got instead of amassing piles of tyres that are never used again. It's amazing what you can get used to tyre wise.
GC on front RR rear deffo more aggressive the GC than the RR
