Hi
Can anyone tell me the difference between these two tyres other than price? Or are they the same tyre?! Help!
Cheers

Definitely not the same. Different carcass and compound, the only common thing is the tread pattern.

Evos are lighter, grippier, more expensive, fragile and wear quicker.

Performance are the opposite.

I use the Evos personally.

As above, the performance tyre is slightly heavier at 500g, but at around £15 a tyre they are a bargin.
I use the Performance personally because I run tubeless & the side walls are more robust than Evo's.
On the road there a bit noisy due to the harder compound.

I belive there is now a Pacestar tubeless ready which is lighter than the full on UST.

Aye, the 2011 Evos are all tubeless ready, no heavier than the old Triple Nano Evos, but designed to work tubeless. Personally I found the older tyres easier - they weren't as tight!
