Curious - friend got some new forks, Totems with RC2 damper. He washed out his front wheel a few times on them, I had a go and found the same.

I know it;s a bit of a how long is a piece of string question, but what kind of compression/rebound settings are people using on theit Totems (or RC2DH Boxxers/Lyriks)? Think that might be a factor.

Damping settings are dependant on lots of other factors - preload, geometry, weight distribution and riding style.

Is this a new problem on an old bike? What forks was he using before? How does the A2C vary?

Have look at the setup guide, http://locotuning.co.uk/tech-info.html

it maybe rebound it too quick or slow, and or low speed comp settings.

He had Domains, setup identical in terms of bars, stem, tyres, etc, same med spring, and negligible difference in A2C, so apart form the forks probably being a bit plusher and newer, the damping is the main difference.

Hi, I had the same problem on my Boxxer.

Turned off all the compression and used as little rebound as I could get away with and things improved dramatically.

I did have a slightly too firm spring though, so if he has correct weight perhaps turn all the compression off and add a click or two as required?

I had the same, a combination of bar rotation and stack height helped. Plus I'm shit on a bike. So the first two adjustments helped me stay more on the bike.
