I think the compression adjustment has broken on my fork, it only has 6 clicks and there seems to be no feeling of lockout when on full. How many clicks should it have and does a working fork have a distinct lockout feel when on full?
I've just had the fork serviced so looks like I need to send them back.
my new pikes (as in, brand new, 2016 etc) have a very firm feel, but not 'complete' lockout.
My older rebas have, pretty much, complete lockout.
Not sure if it should have complete lockout or not..

You should have 13/14 clicks so sounds like they've been put back together wrong.
This happened to mine, something sheared. Send back to Fishers and you will be without a fork for five weeks, upside is that they will upgrade you to the RCT3 cartridge.
The alternative is send it into Flukes for a service (95 quid). You could even get the fast upgrade for between 160 and 215 (inc service) depending which one you want and you'll get it back within a week.
Thanks, I've messaged the company who did the work.
New pikes don't lock out. It's just high amounts of compression damping, so they will still compress, or should.
It was a loose damper top cap, which had caused the compression adjuster to wind on 6 of the clicks itself.

Good to know, else three of us would have had to return ours!
My older Reba does have a nice 'almost rigid' lockout, though.

Pikes are pretty well known for reliability issues, have they got the new seal on the damper cartridge? If not, they should, then your reliability issues will be resolved assuming you use a reputable tuning service - TFT.
