Looking to build a nice light race bike for next year but can't decide what I should have. Anybody have experience of either for racing and general riding?
had both. Never really got on with the rock lobster, although the frame was very, very tired, and i got shut of it and the scandal replaced it.
i really like my scandal, i tried a 100mm stem on it and never liked that, spoke to brant and he told me to try a 70 or 80 which i did and its much better.
i raced it at BUCS (student champs) twice, and a couple of other uni events, grizedale NPS, etc etc aswell as natural XC in the lakes/scotland/south+north downs etc etc. I like it, very capable considering full race geom, and nice and light and stiff without being uncomfortable. Climbs fantastically and great on single track.
