Hi,
I bought a Robens Arch 2 tent a fee months back and finally got a round to pitching it for the first time tonight.
In the pole bag there is a small length of aluminium tube about 5 inches long and of a diameter that fits over the tent poles like a sleeve.
Any idea what it's for?
Hopefully not a dumb question...???
I've had several tents before but never got one of those.
In case of a broken pole? Slide it over the break and tape it in place.
Hey - it's for pole repairs...snap a pole - slip it over - pole fixed...
Pole repair sleeve?

Edit: beaten to it
Ah! Perfect. Thanks good people of STW.
It's a solid little tent by the way - I've got one, and it's a great all-rounder. Not light, but plenty of room, nicely thought through, quality materials, only a couple of minor glitches.
@matt_outandabout yes, it is much roomier than I anticipated. Only pitched it in the garden to have a trial run through erecting it before using it in anger shortly.
Looking forward to a we overnighter to try it out for real.
