From 1996, can't believe what downhill bikes were like then, or Robs hair.
I started watching this this morning! Not finished it yet. Rob's hair is incredible, the chemistry between him and Jet from Gladiators is electric, and Kris Akabusi's description of Rob as wild is perfect.
Algorithms be weird, this suddenly popped up in my youtube feed yesterday
Didn't we do this last week?

Oh and on the front page 6 years ago 🙂

I remember watching that live, mbuk didn’t promote it at all I couldn’t believe it when Warner was on Saturday night tv.
I loved rallying at that time too so I was proper giddy, I’d have been 13 at the time
Christ, I thought “I remember that very well from my childhood” and it was a good 15 minutes until I realised I was 21 at the time 😂
Loved the Pilot liveried EsCos. Jealous of Rob's hair too!

Didn’t we do this last week?
To be fair, i posted it last week and i'd pretty much forgotten it already.
I think it's something to do with ageing, or it could be too many bangs to the head?
Jealous of Rob’s hair too!
I think Rob is probably jealous of his own hair as he seems to cover up his bald patch with a hat and makes sure the camera doesn't show the top of his head.
I had a puncture outside Rob's house in the Chilterns in 1996.
Met Rob's Dad - nice chap.
True story.
Does anyone know where that was? Can someone take a modern enduro sled down it?
Down a fireroad and chop a couple of the corners? Would there be any point?
just to say, Rob Warner’s Wild Rides on Red Bull TV is worth watching, if you don’t mind a bit of enthusiasm with your entertainment 😊
