My Thomson post had well and truly fused into my damged Roadrat frame.

Tried everything. Oil/heat etc.

Wasn't worried about damaging the frame so out came the vice and a quick twist.

Had a rat for years so not sure total cost. It's old xtr cranks etc. so would cost lots if new parts.

New warranty frame and decided on orange after having black commuter bikes for years. Bike park is secure so doesn't matter if its a bit lairy!

Running gp 4000s on all road bikes now. That's the last gator. It's shredded so doesn't have long left

Thanks kristoff. They didn't have my size. Bought one from Merlin for £53

...and yes Clink the 26" fork
