So, when do I know when my road tyres are worn out? I don't want to wait until the inevitable 'POP!'.
The side walls are looking a little cracked, and the back tyre is now looking a little flat-topped. Done about 1300 miles.

i usually replace every 6 months winter ones in october summer in april, i do about 100 miles a week atleast

If the tyre is flat topped then change ASAP! Cracks in the sidewalls aren't good either. Try conti ultra gatorskins for longevity - I really like the GP4000 otherwise.
