I have a few things I might sell as prices seem to be good for second hand right now if you’re a seller. Hopefully I’ve not missed the boat. I generally things are worth what someone is willing to pay but...things I might sell

A PowerTap hub with Mavic Cxp 33 rim, very very reliable but maybe 10 years old.
A Bianchi Frameset with Pantani colours, not sure of the model (bought it second hand in about 2004.. been hanging in the garage for years ).
Mavic Helium wheelset, the original red ones bought new in about year 2000.
Selle SMP saddle
Unused Fabric saddle
Used Fizik saddle.

Also I’m a right eBay newb and I can’t figure out how to set it so the buyer pays for postage? I don’t have the will to figure out the postage costs to different countries for each item.
Is it better to do Auction or set a price?

Thanks!!!

If it's a ANT+ powertap I might be interested. Drop me a mail at rtedgeAThotmailDOTcom if you've got a price in mind.

Cheers

Rich

A bit more detail might help op

You have to set postage price which isn't rocket science ysing the various postage seruce websites. Johnny foreigner can use global shipping.

Use auctions the you don't have to worry about pricing if you describe them properly

Helium wheels are a bit older than 2000, more like 1996 - try retrobike as they're a nice pair of wheels to go with someone's contemporary frame.

Bianchi really cashed in on Pantani's victories - they really went overboard on production as quality went south. If the frame is an original EV2 or EV4 it might be worth something at least on the basis it hasn't cracked!

On eBay the buyer pays for shipping, so include tracked and insured services. I usually set 3 prices - UK, Europe and Worldwide.

In terms of saddles, put them on with a 99p start and you'll probably be modestly surprised.

I've been clearing out my garage and loft of old kit - just bought myself a new carbon Diverge from the proceeds!

Right - I’m pretty my frame is a Mega Pro XL (looks like it’s from 1999). I bought it all with Dura ace but didn’t get on with it so stripped it down and put the parts on a different frame.

The Helium’s might well have come out in 1996 but I bought them new when I was racing as a junior which was from 2000 to 2002 at the latest, just when the Kysriums were coming in.

Even by today's standards, Heliums are lovely wheels - I'm curious as to how much they go for.

Then just do a search for Mavic Helium and tick the completed box...

Here

Seem to be around £100.
