Thinking of an upgrade on the road bike. £500 budget so thinking alloy. So Hunt or Scribe? Or something else (Disc only)
If I was going for alloy rims at that price; I'd also be looking at Mavic Ksyrium S or as a left field suggestion; £510ish gets you handbuilt Hope RS4 / Kinlin's from SPA cycles...
Get some Elitewheels off AliExpress.
I'd look at BTLOS (carbon) or you might be able to get a Farsports/Wheelsfar carbon set within your budget.
Not sure I'd bother with Hunt.
For £500 id be lookng at 2nd hand carbon wheels, ive been watching a few on ebay lately
Most of the ones ive been looking at are lightly used, weigh under 1600 grams
Fulcrum's and Vision wheels seem to be resonably priced

My wife has a set of these that were recommended by a roady mate whose club use a lot or Cero wheels. I'd not heard of them.
Light, great tubeless and are currently taking on light gravel duties.

I have a pair of Scribe Race Disc Wide (alloy) and they are a joy. An excellent upgrade.
Very loud freehub mind, if that bothers you.
I would stretch your budget a little and buy these - Giant SLR 1 50mm wheels. Great specs at a very good price.
I'd be going Elitewheels or LightBicycle.
Under the recommend what you have, Just Riding Along (York based).
I got gravel wheels from them 4 years ago, still straight as a die and zero maintenance so when I wanted to try the roads I bought a pair of their carbon wheels for my gravel bike.
Nice and price-wise they're good value for the weight etc.
They've gone up a bit since I got mine, but still reasonable:
