Hi,
Are there any compatibility issues between road and MTB hydraulic brakes?

I have a bit of a monstercross thing going on using tiagra levers and M615 levers and I just can't seem to get them playing nicely together. There just seems to be a lack of power.

Piston size on 2 pot callipers is the same, so should play fine.
I’ve got 2 bikes with GRX STIs on 2 different old versions of XTR callipers and they’re grand - same as full GRX on another bike.

Thought was going to ask if more of a pain to bleed...yes until get hang of it

Running Deore 4 pot with 105 shifters and very happy

The only compatability issue aware of is shimano has two types of hose...around page 30 in this doc (pdf download) is a huge chart that explains all if you know your part numbers

Thanks,
It must be something I'm doing wrong.
I'm going to replace the fluid, replace the pads and start again I think. Stick with shimano pads and see how it goes.
The calipers were great when used with the mtb levers.
