My touring bike has road specific BB7s - ideal for a tourer. I'm considering going from the drop bars that are currently on the bike to a flat bar or more likely a butterfly bar.
The road levers will have to go.
Am I right in thinking I can keep the existing calipers/rotors and just change the levers to a standard pull lever : something like [url= http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/shimano-ultegra-r780-flat-bar-brake-levers/rp-prod69832 ]this[/url]?

Yup - BMX levers might be an even more budget option
