which is the preffered term when describing the sport in which people fist themselves up a mountain whilst riding on asphalt?
I usually refer to it (or any other form of cycling TBH) as "playing bikes". 🙂

i'm only really interested in the term roadies would use to decribe their preffered form of bike sporting pleasure.
currently re-doing a website and the (german) owner likes the term road riding, but i err more to riding or biking....

Road riding.
Road riding, easier to seperate between the days I'm fisting 😕 myself up a mountain and the days I'm an armoured fattie on a DH bike. 🙄

cycling / cyclist ...there is no need to be more specific than that as all other variations are keen enough to distance them self into sub categories.
