Mixed ability group staying in Ingleton for a few days. Just looking for rides around 100 km / 60 miles. Some not suited to lots of climbing....Looks like plenty of hilly stuff with some flatter rides towards the coast.
Any recommendations?

One of my favourite shortish rides visits Ingleton - has one tough climb, but it's worth it: Ingleton - Bentham - Kirkby Lonsdale - barbondale - dent - kingsdale climb - Ingleton.

It's flatter to go on the lanes between Clapham, Gisburn, Bolton by Bowland (but less fun!)

That looks pretty much what teaboy describes. Be aware that the Tour of Britain is coming through Barbondale on (I think) stage 3 so I'd avoid it that day! White Moss (Kingsdale climb) is pretty tough and the road surface isn't that good until you get to the climb itself.

Another alternative would be: Ingleton - High Bentham - Cross o' Greet - Slaidburn - Tosside - Lawkland - Clapham - Ingleton

Yep - the link is good. There's loads of variation possible until Barbon so you can make it as long as you like. Just try to avoid the main Bentham to Wray road if you can.

Whitestone's route is good too, and has ace views of the 3 peaks if you do it the opposite way round.

Head to Arnside for a flat enough route, plus a great chippy there.

Thanks for all the advice. Went 2 weekends ago, had great weather and enjoyed the rides. In case anyone is searching for rides in the area I've included them below. I'd say Barbondale would be one of the nicest valleys I've cycled in the UK. So good we did it twice ...
