I've two 1.5 hour slots tomorrow to get quick blasts in on my road bike, starting from the palatine pool area of Blackpool, I don't know the area at all. Any suggestions greatly appreciated
Get onto the prom, head towards Lytham, then wrea green, then Weeton, singleton, poulton, back to Blackpool.

Ride up to Clevelys, then depending on wind direction either continue round to Fleetwood or turn right in Clevelys to Wyre Estuary Country Park (good cafe) then follow the estuary path down to Skippool marina for amazing derelict boats, then cross the Shard Bridge and work your way up via Pilling to the north coast and ride back along the sea wall to Knott End to take the foot ferry back to Fleetwood. In a NW wind do that bit anti-clockwise to enjoy being blown along the front. Ooer. Watch out for the lower level promenade at Blackpool that most people don't see; you'll get blown along there too....
