I'm after a new rear hub for my CX bike and got a Sun Ringle Eco one from CRC which looks nice enough but does feel like a bit of a brick.

So I'm just wondering what else is out there without spending silly money but a bit lighter. One requirement - must be cartridge bearing - eg not Shimano style cup/cone.

285 is wrong - that's for the front hub - it's actually 345g.

ADH - helpful as ever 😉

If you want something very light do a search on eBay for CNC road hub, there's loads of far Eastern shops knocking out <250gram rear hubs very cheap. I'd go for a Novatech one.
