So I know between COVID, factory fires, the cycling boom and boats getting stuck in canals that there is still a parts shortage, just wondered if anyone knew specifics?
I basically want a frame + Ultegra groupset. Any complete builds appear to be delayed until September and the big online players are sold out of the common chainset sizes. Is it just the chainsets that are in short supply though or other components?
Am looking for rim brake groupsets which I imagine will be less in demand now which I suppose means shops won't order as much?
Merlin have a few options in stock, nothing suitable there?

Thanks, sort of confirms my suspicions that it's the chainsets holding things up!
I checked with a shop that sells the frameset I want, they also confirmed it's a chainset shortage but happily they can still do bulk-buy prices for whole groupsets minus chainset (I was worried that I would have to pay individual RRP on each component which would be significantly more expensive than the complete groupset price...).
Happily I happen to have a spare chainset just waiting for a build 😎
