My wife & I are staying in Norwich for 4 days in the near future. Having never been to Norfolk can you recommend us some cycle routes & must see places to visit on the road bikes? With nice cafe stops.
Ideally day out loops of 60-100 miles from Norwich.

We had a few days camping near Holt (great options for a nice café stop) a few weeks back, some lovely riding on the NCN30 to Blakeney.

there are a lot of nice backroads, once you get closer to the north coast. Avoid the coast road, and ride the roads that are parallel but a couple of miles inland.

there used to an excellent small sportive set up called Pedal Norfolk, from Holkham. Most of the routes are on RideWithGPS, and some - like https://ridewithgps.com/trips/14931912 - pass close to Norwich

All I would say is the main roads are full of fast cars, tractors, and sugar beet lorries. The back roads are very quiet indeed.

a nice route would be out north, (via the back roads!), Blicking, Aylsham, etc. To Wiveton for the cafe.

Thanks, I'll have a look at those suggestions.

Richard Michelson lives in Norwich. He is the guy that did the mugs for Rouleur a few years back. Follow him on Strava/twitter, you'll find loads.

Beware when going across the Waveney Valley at the Broads, 3 bridges and one ferry. Guess what the traffic is like at this time of the year?

Marriots Way starts very near the city centre. Based on old railway tracks.

If it's been wet Marriots gets a bit muddy in places, shouldn't be a problem currently but be aware.

Just back from an extended stay with the in-laws down there, just south east of Norwich and took the bike so I could escape for a bit and explore the countryside. Some great routes and quiet roads.

Have a look on RideWithGPS as that's how I planned a load of mine.

Couple of suggestions - head out via Trowse and Whitlingham along the south of the Yare on NCN1 to Loddon then on to Reedham, cross over on the ferry, pint at the pub, then back to Norwich via the villages - can make this as long or short as you want.

Another great route was out to Happisburgh via Salhouse, Hoveton and Worstead, then back via North Walsham, Aylsham and Reepham. I used the Weavers Way and Marriott's way for the way back as I was on the gravel bike, lovely quiet offroad routes. Marriott's should be fine on road tyres, Weavers way was a bit rougher so could just use that as a guide for the route
