...good idea, or will a decent percentage of drivers have one or two scotches inside them...?

then again, I might have too!

I'm thinking 3 nights on there visiting about 6 distilleries over those 3 days, done all by bicycle...

....it's definitely a plan of sorts!

They'll all be reeking drunk, driving cars with no insurance or bits that make them safe, a bit like the rest of Scotland. Probably best that you stay away. The midges are unbearable all year round too.

i though midges went bye bye by September, and there aren't many wooded areas as far as I can see, I'd be stopping by the blustery coast too!

Love, your friendly neighbourhood Sasernak 😀

The roads are crap apart from the 2 'main' ones.
Everyone will give you 'The Islay Wave' (index finger just slightly raised off the steering wheel) although they do it on Uist as well.
You could do all 8 distilleries, but you might wobble a bit.
Do it.

FTFY (Not many brats on Islay though, thankfully.)

Kilchoman is a lovely farm distillery with a great cafe', (the Cullen Skink was excellent)
