I'm looking for some 100km or so routes for this weekend. Anyone ridden on the road there? I'm not fussed where I start but the north end is easier for me to get to in a couple of hours.

Whereabouts? You're spoilt for choice with good climbs I'd have thought. I was just over the border in Haut-Rhin last year and rode the Petit Ballon, Grand Ballon and Ballon d'Alsace - all excellent, challenging climbs with rewarding views and cafés or auberges near the top.
Well I'm coming down from Luxembourg so I can hit the top in 2 hours, the bottom in 3 so it's pretty much all accessible. The Grand Ballon is one I spotted from Strava. The idea is to park the car, ride a loop then go find a hotel and some food then repeat the following day.
Log on to tourist information sites (Colmar, Gerardmer, Xonrupt etc.) and they have pdf downloads of suggested bike routes. As per above, loads of stuff and you'll be either going up or down and not much else.
