I've got 4 days of road cycling around Malaga on the agenda. Anyone familiar with the area, classic runs, any bike shops etc? I'm hopefully hiring a bike when I get there and was going to let Strava come up with some routes.
I normally cycle further North in the Costa Blanca so no personal experience. But this has a few nice looking routes.

I'm staying in central Malaga on the edge of the old district. Looks like a 13 minute walk to the Escapada shop. Unfortunately Google is telling me it's permanently closed.
Just to follow up on this and hopefully helps someone else. I did book with Escapada and received an email saying whilst their shop has closed they were still delivering bikes. After trying to contact them several times to confirm, I got nowhere. After a bit of investigation it doesn't look like they have been active for some time. The website still works and takes bookings (and money) but that's it. Solid rep and the website looked legit but obviously just running away rather than providing any service. Fortunately I should be covered but it's leaving me scrambling to get another bike booked and the tricky situation of effectively booking two for the same time.
