Thinking about converting my flat-bar hybrid (with vees) to full road drop bars and sti levers... How will the vee's work with the levers ?? Do I need "travel-agents" or anything like that as I believe the leverage changes ?? Thanks

They work, but it feels a bit odd, using travel agents makes them feel more like proper road brakes (just more powerful).

Just remember that unless it's already quite short in the top tube you'll want a shorter stem otherwise the drops will seem a very long way away.

85mm arm mini-v's work fine with road levers.

My comuter uses old xt v brakes with tiagra sti
There is a lot of lever travel but also lots of power
Its been like it for 4 years and never found the need to fit the cable pull adjuster things

I have MTB Vees with STIs, the lever feels a bit baggy but you have a higher mechanical advantage due to the longer arms.
