Hi,i have been offered a muddy fox blade road bike on gumtree for 130 pounds and would like to know if this is a good deal.I am a complete newbie to road biking and just want a cheap value for money bike first off.My budget is no higher than 200.cheers
It sounds a bit too cheap to be much use. Spend a bit more in a reputable place.

If you mean the bike at the link above then it does not look great. I would look around for something from Trek, Giant, Specialized etc.
This on Ebay is the typr of thing I mean (remove dodgy rack)

Go to decathlon, their cheepest is £300, but it'll be a country mile ahead of that.
Go Outdoors had some reasonable bikes around that price.
that "road bike" has 26" wheels 😕
This reviewer gave his four stars out of five, despite:
An overall cheap roadbike that does the job
Bad Points: Cheap build and parts - probably will have to make alterations
Fork came bent - had to bend back into place with hammer
handle bar wrap things keep coming off.
Leave it Maurice.
Decathlon. I wouldn't bother with anything else when buying on a budget.
