Hello, anyone got any recommendations for road bike rental in Majorca?

Staying near Pollenca and ideally want a top end carbon bike.

In particular has anyone used "BikeHead" based in Pollenca?

We used Pollensa cycling last year, had two Kuota Korsas and a Moser 111 Full Carbon both of which were very nice, the shop now has Kuota Korsa carbons for this year! Very reasonable rates and dropped them off at our hotel and collected them free of charge, seemed quite a laid back guy, there was no arguing over scratches or wear!

We were staying in the Viva Tropic in Alcudia and they had the full Scott range available for hire, if you google Viva cycling thy have quite a few hotels with bike rental/shops!

Pro cycle hire - they are great guys and nothing is too much trouble. Great knowledge of good routes etc and think they made ride from the shop some days. It's in puerto pollensa.

if you want high end bling rad international worth a look too - do very high end canyon bikes.

I considered it last year when in Puerto Pollensa, but it was just too hot. I'm going again this year so will be sure to pack my pedals and shoes. I can't remember the name of the place I looked at that was based in Pollensa, I think it was Pro Cycle Hire, they were advertising around the town alot, but they were something like €60 a day for a top end carbon bike, but they did cheaper mid range carbon bikes too.

The climb up Formentor looks good, but traffic was constant and alot of coaches on day tours and the roads are narrow and twisty. Maybe the height of the season isn't the best time, unless you get up early.

Anyone know if there are any decent offload trails around Pollensa? Alot of hills so looks like it could be promising.
