The manual refers to 6ml of oil on the damper side and 6ml on the spring side but it doesn't seem to explain exactly how to do this other than squiring it though the hole in the bottom. Help?

I use a 10ml syringe;
you can invert the forks and squirt it in the lower holes after sliding the lowers 3/4 of the way onto the CSU
you can keep the lowers horizontal and squirt it in past the wiper seal/foam ring, then slide the lowers onto the CSU whilst keeping both horizontal

I've just done a lower leg service too. Really made the fork feel good again.
