Anyone fancy a ride tonight? Rivington, Belmont, Darwen, anywhere in this area.

Keep meaning to get down to the MNPR but its a little late for me.

7PM tonight? Anyone who knows there way round fancy a ride?

Could make it regular if a few fancy it.

WARNING, slow and steady pace 😆

Not Rivi but some of the MNPR lot are possibly riding at Holcombe Brook on Thursday night, doing the same or similar ride to last night.

No idea what time they're riding but I suspect it will be earlier than the usual Monday night rides.

The ride on Thursday will most likely be from the Hare & Hounds at Holcombe Brook starting at 7.30.

THIS IS SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION

I will stick something up on this thread amd also email those that i have email addresses for.

14km - sociable pace. Took about an hour and 40 mins on Monday so you will need lights. And beer money.

Pace is to slowest rider they are always social rides. Haney been for a good while due to work commitments but I am slowest of the slow and they don't leave you behind.

WW, I'm good for Thursday. My ribs are tender though, at least in local if I need to bail.

I went out for a couple of hours. Started raining just as I got back.

the plans to come over to Rammy seemed to hit a mountain of snags and it seemed easier just to have a local ride over Darwen Moor.

Similarly it was raining as we got back but not too bad in general.

Next MNPR is from Belmont so make a point of joining us...

Our night ride gang is leaving Abbey Village at 6pm - sorry for the late suggestion.....

There is a ride 6pm every Tuesday in the approximate area (Rivi, Darwen, Hoghton, Longridge etc) - email me and can get you included you on the email / text list (I rarely make it out).

Thanks for the offer Mick but I only get home from work around 6, so no chance I'd make it

I'm doing a ride tonight (Wed night) at 7pm, meeting at Brinscall baths.
At least 3 of us out, maybe more.
Will include plenty of cheeky off-piste and probably a lap of Healy Nab thrown in for good measure.
We (Bogtrotters) do a Wednesday nightride every week at 7pm somewhere like Rivi/Abbey Village/Pendle/Longridge/Calderdale/Worsthorne/Farleton/etc.

Nope the next one down is still blocked as is that - as of Monday but it will be blocked all year IMHO

Blocked as in literally impassable by bike fence at the end - might be able to sneak over to the left but its a big drop and I DONT ADVISE IT - I really dont advise trying i am not just saying that as a hint I really really dont advise trying this

You can detour via the woods though

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=367320&y=422365&z=115&sv=367320,422365&st=4&ar=y&mapp=map.srf&searchp=ids.srf&dn=594&ax=367320&ay=422365&lm=0

Its pretty easy on the ground to find you rway as its an obvious path not on the OS map.
