Anyone fancy a ride tonight? Rivington, Belmont, Darwen, anywhere in this area.
Keep meaning to get down to the MNPR but its a little late for me.
7PM tonight? Anyone who knows there way round fancy a ride?
Could make it regular if a few fancy it.
WARNING, slow and steady pace 😆
Late afternoon bump
i'm not gonna be home tonight (horwich) until about 11pm, otherwise i'd have joined you...
Not tonight, but showing interest. Thanks 1 shed.
Well if anyone fancies organizing for Thursday or next Tuesday even then I'm free. Just post in here 😀
Not Rivi but some of the MNPR lot are possibly riding at Holcombe Brook on Thursday night, doing the same or similar ride to last night.
it was a belter
No idea what time they're riding but I suspect it will be earlier than the usual Monday night rides.
There is a ride on from royal pub at tockholes tomorrow led by on yer bike cycles. Anyone can go and they are decent people. They are going over great hill I think. Worth going on with them.
I'd say yes. I'd also say yes to Thursday but the bikes in bits.....
Brengate - that sounds perfect, will there be a time posted on here anywhere?
Mike3342 - sounds good also, do you know what sort of pace?
Duncancallun - let me know once it's back in one piece! 😆
The ride on Thursday will most likely be from the Hare & Hounds at Holcombe Brook starting at 7.30.
THIS IS SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION
I will stick something up on this thread amd also email those that i have email addresses for.
14km - sociable pace. Took about an hour and 40 mins on Monday so you will need lights. And beer money.
If on one and my bearing suppliers pull a finger out I'm all go
Pace is to slowest rider they are always social rides. Haney been for a good while due to work commitments but I am slowest of the slow and they don't leave you behind.
WW, I'm good for Thursday. My ribs are tender though, at least in local if I need to bail.
Did you lot make it out tonight? Weather didn't sound to promising!
I went out for a couple of hours. Started raining just as I got back.
the plans to come over to Rammy seemed to hit a mountain of snags and it seemed easier just to have a local ride over Darwen Moor.
Similarly it was raining as we got back but not too bad in general.
Next MNPR is from Belmont so make a point of joining us...
Bugger bikes in bits still.
Might dig the trek out
Anyone fancy a ride tonight?
Anyone?
Our night ride gang is leaving Abbey Village at 6pm - sorry for the late suggestion.....
There is a ride 6pm every Tuesday in the approximate area (Rivi, Darwen, Hoghton, Longridge etc) - email me and can get you included you on the email / text list (I rarely make it out).
Thanks for the offer Mick but I only get home from work around 6, so no chance I'd make it
Anyone out and about tomorrow in this area and fancies a ride, let me know.
I might be up for it tomorrow night, I'll know more about 3 o'clock ish
I'm doing a ride tonight (Wed night) at 7pm, meeting at Brinscall baths.
At least 3 of us out, maybe more.
Will include plenty of cheeky off-piste and probably a lap of Healy Nab thrown in for good measure.
We (Bogtrotters) do a Wednesday nightride every week at 7pm somewhere like Rivi/Abbey Village/Pendle/Longridge/Calderdale/Worsthorne/Farleton/etc.
Cheers Ecky Thump might look into that for next Wednesday.
Anyone around tomorrow morning fancy a ride?
Bump for the evening
I'm in work might do Sat pm
Can't do PM! Can do a ride Tuesday or Thursday evening though if your interested?
Send me a message- in profile - me and another from here and a lurker form here ride each week usually tuesdays sometimes wednesday
Socialish pace but we dont do pubs and we ride for about 3 hours. whatever the weather

Nope the next one down is still blocked as is that - as of Monday but it will be blocked all year IMHO
Blocked as in literally impassable by bike fence at the end - might be able to sneak over to the left but its a big drop and I DONT ADVISE IT - I really dont advise trying i am not just saying that as a hint I really really dont advise trying this
You can detour via the woods though
Its pretty easy on the ground to find you rway as its an obvious path not on the OS map.
Thanks for that info, Junkyard.
(I've finally grown out of deliberately doing anything I'm told not to)
