Planning on going over rivi way on saturday. Last time I rode there (few mths ago) the Belmont dam wall was closed for repairs curtailing our normal route along Witton Weavers way.
anyone know if its opened up yet?
I live just down the road. It was still shut (last weekend) and looked like there was still plenty of work going on.
It is supposed to be finished soon, but then it was supposed to be finished months ago.
The road round takes only 5 minutes but there is this cheeky line

i was thinking of going up to Stones Bank and joining there but that little route is much quicker. Taking a newb out and by that point i’ve a feeling the hill up might kill him so short cut will be way better!
