Just read about this on the beeb - apologies if already covered elsewhere....grew up in Croydon, know sandy lane south well....any death is sad, cycling or known person related or not...such a shame.
Erm; you do know it was a year ago? I too just saw it was again high on the BBC 'most read' list but assumed that's as a response to him being shown on the SPOTY tributes last night and a few people (me included) thinking 'Eh? When?' and going and looking it up.
But RIP indeed, seemed a genuinely nice guy according to his peers.
Really - bugger (checks bottle).. having got married and had a kid in the last yr I knew time was flying but sheesh I think I need to slow down a bit...retreats slowly back to the dark corner of STW in embarrassment.....
That's awful. Just come up on my Android app too. Not a nice thing for his family to read again...
