RIP favourite cleaning brush - replacement?

After several years of reliable service my go-to brush has failed. I have searched high and low but can't find an identical replacement.

I've tried a Peaty's detail brush but it left me underwhelmed (too narrow and soft).

The key criteria is that it can clean the hub in the area behind the disc (something the Muc-Off two prong brush doesn't manage).

Any suggestions please?

Looks like a Pedro's cone brush so may be worth trying one of them

Thanks escrs, that looks like an ideal replacement!

Will see if I can buy the brush alone.

(edit - typo)

These are great for getting in the small gaps, stiff enough bristles to really get in there. Cheap and spare brushes for the loo etc 🙂

Though not a direct replacement (I'm still using a brush I got free with MBR!), make a good addition to the bike cleaning kit

That's why the brush has lasted so long! 😀

Round headed toilet brush with long handle, does hubs and bottom bracket area perfectly, soft enough to get in most awkward gaps.

Yeah, loosen off the worst of it with the hose then wipe the stanchions/dropper and call it a day! Though I do have an extra step now as my wife dog grooms from the garage, so I use her hot air blaster to blast out the dirty water from the drivetrain and brakes, it works a treat.

I use an old toothbrush for cleaning that part of the hub. Works perfectly for me.

There's a wide variety of bottle brushes available in various materials and lengths rather than the way overpriced bike specific stuff.

I’ll probs get abuse for this, but I just use a toilet brush. Cheap, with a handle, and if you go posh even a holder.

it should be noted that such toilet brush is purchased specifically for bike cleaning purposes, and is not a soiled/recycled one.
