Have a spare set of DT 240s hubs I'd like to build into 29er XC / bikepacking wheels for a spare frame I have. Would like suggestions, with following stipulations:
a) cheap (as mentioned before on the forum, I'm poor!)
b) tubeless ready
c) available through a Madison dealer. For various reasons I would like to order via my local shop, who are supplied by Madison.
Any recommendations?
DT Swiss 533d are the cheapest DT MTB rims from Madison, RRP £24.99.
You can browse Madison on Freewheel (and order to your shop if they have signed up).

Double the price of above, but lighter, wider and tubeless ready unlike the 533 - I’d go for either X412 or X432 depending on whether you want 22.5 or 25mm internal width.
+ 1 for the X 432, genuinely good rim if you can stetch to £55
Good work suporting your local shop too, we'll mis 'em if they go.
wider and tubeless ready unlike the 533
The DtSwiss site suggests that it is tubeless...
Optional
Tubeless tape 27 mm
Tubeless valve MTB 32 mm
Great recommendation on the X432 - thanks!
@simondbarnes - good spot! I’d always been under the impression that the older extrusions had insufficient bead shelves to work tubeless, but happy to be wrong!
