Looking to build a backup pair of wheels for the Croix de Fer. It's currently in audax mode with XT hubs on Archetypes, but I'm wanting something less bling and veering more to the cross side of things.

Got another set of XT hubs, any rim recommendations?

The Croix de Fer comes with Alex XD-Lite rims as a full build, but can't find them anywhere. Anything similar that I should be looking at?

Built some XT hubs up with Halo Aerotrack. Same weight as open pros but stiffer, 32 hole, 19mm. I've had 25mm to 2.1s on. Under £25 if you shop around. Deep rims look cool and lots of colours to choose from:

Being track rims, are they not a bit more prone to exploding?

Daffy - CdF or Croix de Fer? (i.e. Alex XDLite or XD-Elite) And what's your e-mail?
