Hi thinking of getting a Prolwer 2.3 tyre for my old rigid Marin. Just fitted a FR tyre from another bike and recon i'll have a about 7-8mm clearance at the narowest part of the fork.( at the sides). There's no v brakes to clog with mud - just cantis. tyre is a 2.3

Would you be happy running that. The bike is used all year around, but not really in loads of deep mud, just swinley type stuff. Rear is fine.

Cheers
