Ok, its like this.
I've been running a set of RC39s on my Hardtail race bike and theyre now knackered and cant afford to replace them with another superlight set of forks so I'm considering buying a carbon rigid set.

I generally race the hardtail around Thetford and Essex etc so no need for suspension at all really and I often ran the pace with the lock out on, especially sprinting.

What dyou reckon are the best (cost concious remember) to go for?

Ta.

they ride very well, i use 29ers with a 26 frame and wheel to keep a relaxed(ish) geometry and they feel really well planted and so easy to lift yourself out of ruts and tricky spots
