Anyone done it ?
Or have you done it with more than one ?
Fresh or prepackaged any different to how they behave !
You can use them on a cold day to warm your hands.
Most days on my commute, two in my bait box. Top tip- Try and place a packet of crisps between the croissants and your apple as a protective layer.
If the maggots get in, you would have a protein rich snack
Considering that croissants contain nothing but space and that space is both infinite and infinitely connected, why not try riding inside the croissant thereby achieving faster than light travel and making both bikepacking and fatbikes entirely redundant?
Peak STW right here.
If it goes a bit flat just nibble off an end and use your mini pump to pop it back up.
Thought this was just going to dry up and go off !
Carry it in your mush! Points upwards, like a smile, on a good day. Points downwards if you’re feeling shitty.
A pastry emoji for fellow road users! Ooh la la!
Alternatively you could pop the croissant down the back of your bib shorts. However, on reflection, this could be a pain in the arse!
this could be a pain in the arse!
Love it!
OP maybe you've just uncovered a whole new potential market for a croissant specific protective case. Like that bananaguard thing but brown and crescent shaped (not to be confused with dog poo).
It could have a whole page to itself in the Lakeland catalogue!
I've ridden with a few doughnuts, but no-one I'd actually call a croissant.
Proper first world problem.
Pain au chocolat ftw.
agreed Pain au chocolat far superior
over here (france) the all butter croissant is actually straight, the curved ones may have some other kind of grease involved.
however the solution is called an almond croissant. Yesterdays croissant, filled with almond "paste", covered in grilled almonds and extra sugar... the weight goes up certainly, but soooo much better at the top of the hill/desk etc.
I regularly ride with one. The crumbs can help thicken tubeless fluid to block those pesky to stop punctures, and they can double up as an absorbent dressing for a bit of trail side triage.
And of course if you don’t use them for this when you get back to your car you can enjoy them as a tasty energy rich snack reward.
On longer rides you could take 2.
