Never found much in the way of riding trousers, although I think Endura do some. However I discovered that the now legendary walking trousers from a previous thread are actually pretty comfy for cycling. So to make them practical for MTB ing and prevent them from being mashed by the chainrings, I added some poppers:

Should be good for winter riding as well as commuting.

The trousers are Trespass, don't know the model. Were £90, not worth that but good for the £20 I paid. The stretchy arse and knees are what make them good for cycling I reckon.

Aye.. Ever used them? Never mind mtbing they are crap for commuting too.

Poppers probably cheaper than those things and better for a number of reasons.
