It looks like I might have to do a couple of weeks up in burntisland. I should be able to pack the bike. I'm thinking I'll try and squeeze a ride in at glentress on the way up and back but is there anywhere to ride in the evenings around there? The map doesn't look promising.
I used to live in Burntisland, you have a few options.
There is Braefoot Bay which is to the west of Aberdour, short dh style tracks and some jumps. It is rideable from bizland along the coastal path.
There is also the Binn Hill at the back of the town, which you can ride in either direction, I used to go west to east. Some bits you might have to push up.
If you don't mind driving a wee bit, Blairadam forest by Kelty is a 20 min drive away with longer loops.
