So off to Conwy for a week, I'll be able to take either my road bike or full suspension and can get a half days riding in plus maybe a few 90 min evening rides.
Which is better out of penmachno and betws y coed, and are there any short evening loops near to Conwy? Doesn't have to be trail centre.
Am half thinking of taking the road bike as it might be easier for evening rides but not sure how the road riding is down there compares to the lakes. I like hills and especially some steep bits! Some bits on the Orme look quite handy for a quick trip out
Any ride suggestions, road or mtb for a half day and couple 90 min ones would be greatly appreciated. Am reasonably fit and used to big hills.

You'd be ok with either, IMHO.
Some decent MTB riding on Conwy Mountain (ride straight from the town), ranging from rolling XC to some big ups and downs.

You can string together any number of 90 minute loops in that sort of area.
