Looks like I’m working away on Camborne train station for around 6 weeks from next week.

Yes I’m of an age where that brings up a jethro reference 😂

just wondering if it’s worth taking the mtb? I can’t imagine there is much in the way of trails but anyone know?  I can always take the gravel bike and get some riding around done  if there isn’t much

Can't think there's much, if driving;

Chicksands - 40 mins

Woburn - 50 mins

Thetford - 55 mins

Carn Brea had some good techy short natural descents but the trails are mostly pretty overgrown at the moment.

Poldice Valley is rideable from Camborne for some big jumps and DH trails. Coast path between Portreath and Godrevy is a nice run. There are small pockets of short trails around but nothing substantial, so riding is generally using PRoWs and the Mineral Tramways trails to link short descents and play spots.

Mineral Tramways trails are ideal for a gravel bike though and you mix some riding up along the Coast to Coast trail, Tehidy Woods and Coast Path as well as back lanes.

One of my mates lives that way and may have a couple of GPX routes from some of the cornwall MTB rides that may be useful?
