Sooooo I spent a cracking couple of days over in Northern Ireland and had the good fortune to get to the Mourne Mountains. I headed up with the bike onto Slieve Binean which was absolutely bloody marvellous. However, it was only when I got back down that I started to wonder why there is nothing online about riding the Mournes other than on man made trails. Not being local, what are the access laws in Northern Ireland for bikes? Are they different from the rest of the UK or are they more sensible adopting the Scottish approach?
Cheers
Sanny
As far as I know, norn Ireland has the most archaic, backward access laws of the UK, unfortunately.
