That used to be my commute. Its a great route. Head out of town on the A680, towards Norden, then turn right and head up the almighty slog of Rooley Moor Road, quick lap of Cragg Quarry, then over the turbines, and go hooning down Owd Betts Descent, bit of road then finish on the singletrack by the side of the fisherman's into Rammy

Then you'll need to use the turnpike from Rochdale to Edenfield. Good descent into Rammy but very exposed.

Rochdale to Heywood, Ashfield Road up to the A680, Owd Betts over to Edenfield, Irwell Vale/Road to Rammy.
