Posting a video for a mate, nice to watch during the free time we all have.

Nice video

We always ride it from the Langsett end and loop it in with some of the other stuff at the Derwent end, usually do it once a month and have never got tired of it in the 30+ years of riding it.

It was a bit moist last weekend

It’s a cracker all right. One of the few I don’t mind doing as an out and back.

Nice one, I'll pass that on.

Great photo, just the point where things get faster.

Bother lives around the corner from langsett so if I do come up and visit from Essex tend to ride from his (30min xc) to langsett and around the reservoir and up North America trail to get to the mid top part of cutgate before coming back down.

I have ridden from ladybower to langsett and back. Good fun day until mates freehub broke and he had to be pushed, scooted and ebike towed on all the ups.

Both. Park at Langsetts, ride south, do a loop as far as your legs can manage, ride back.

He needs some new arm warmers or a less aggressive dog 🙂

it's quite clearly better north to south, no question.

But it's a moot point unless you're doing a 60km + ride since there are no other comparable legal trails nearby for the return journey. So the best option is nearly always to just come back the same way.

Thank you all for the interest.

Dukes Road can make it into a loop, depending on where you park you might be doing big road miles.

Another both from me. Different challenges either way.  It's just a lovely bit of riding!
