I'm a time strapped dad with young kids unfortunately not managing to get out on my bike.
I'm looking for riding buddies in the Droitwich area. would like to regular mid-week rides and occasional weekend ones. Happy to share transport to get to Wyre Forest or Malvern.

Go out riding most weekends, occasionally in the week. Have a number of acquaintances that I ride with from time to time (and could introduce you to), and ride the Wyre fairly often. In fact heading down there to join a couple of guys off here tomorrow evening (7pm meet outside the Duke William pub), if you wanted to join.
If you drop me an email (in my profile), I'll reply and give you some more details etc. Also, if you're on Facebook, check out the Wyre Forest MTB Trails group on there. I post quite regularly, as do various others.
If you fancy The Lickeys etc let me know, often use new Droitwich canal as part of loops too

Yes Mounty_73 I'm Ian. I've been out in the Wyre I think with you just got out of the habit. The importnat thing is to do something regular otherwise it never happens.

No worries. Went out with MicArms and Votchy off this forum, was a pretty good ride. Bit of mud down there still, but conditions are way better there now than they were 3 weeks ago. Secret Garden was perfectly rideable, and Camber was riding very well.
All in did just under 15 miles in a touch over 2hrs, and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Determined to go out this week and start riding in the Wyre regularly on a Wednesday evening. Start at 7pm from the Duke William car park.
I contacted you last week mate, you didn't get back to me. I'm not gonna be there this week, dunno if anyone else is intending to. But you'll need lights after about 8pm anyway now as it's dark in there!
Probably gonna organise a ride there this weekend at some point, and imagine next week I'll be back into Wednesday evening rides.
