Strangely I find myself poised to buy a Ridgeback Flight (Second hand) for commuting, pub biking and general transport duties around London.
Any views from the STW hivemind as to whether or not this is a good idea?
It's got Shimano disks and a mix of Sora and Tiagra bits.
With mudguards and a rack I think it'll be grand...

They are great, though the disc mount position means you'll need a disc specific rack. I think the ultraflight non-disc version might be better for pub/transport duties. Easier to fit 'guards and rack and a bit less nickable.
